That’s Me!!

Bio: Hi friends and fellow bloggers Welcome to the start of a new era in my life, a place where I welcome all to sit and curl up with a hot cup of tea and a comfy blanket, and to make yourselves at home. I have the urge to share my life's ups and downs with those out there needing to know that they're not alone. I'm here to share some hope through my words and witticisms. Sometimes our stress can just fade away through laughter and through tears. Putting my pen to paper again after a long 20 some odd year journey has been worth every second of the hike. Weaving intricate words into meaning is a privilege and a sort of meditation; a healing of sorts. "My gripe is not with lovers of the truth, but with truth herself. What succor, what consolation is there in truth, compared to a story? What good is truth, at midnight, in the dark, when the wind is roaring like a bear in the chimney? When the lightning strikes shadows on the bedroom wall and the rain taps at the window with its long fingernails? No, when fear and cold make a statue of you in your bed, don't expect hard- boned and fleshless truth to come running to your aid. What you need are the plump comforts of a story. A soothing, rocking safety of a lie. " Vida Winters--- character from The Thirteenth Tale, by Diane Setterfield "Do you know the feeling of when you start reading a new book before the membrane of the last one has had a chance to close behind you? You leave the previous book, with ideas and themes, characters even, caught in the fibers of your clothes. And when you open the new book, they're still with you" Margaret Lea--- character fromThe Thirteenth Tale, Diane Setterfield 😍😍😍 Thank you for joining me in my travels. Becca
